replacephoto.com lets anyone replace a publicly visible photo for €1. Because uploaded images are immediately visible to all visitors, this policy exists to keep the experiment open, fun, and safe for everyone.

What's Allowed

  • Personal photos, selfies, pets, landscapes, artwork.
  • Original creative work (illustrations, graphic design, photography) that you own.
  • Images of public figures in a clearly editorial or humorous context — provided they do not defame, harass, or mislead.
  • Memes, internet culture, wholesome weirdness. Have fun.

What's Not Allowed

The following categories are strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately:

  • Explicit sexual content. Any nudity, pornography, or sexually suggestive imagery.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Zero tolerance. Will be reported to the relevant authorities.
  • Violence and gore. Images depicting or glorifying violence, injury, or death.
  • Hate speech. Content that dehumanises people based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Harassment and doxxing. Images designed to intimidate, threaten, or expose the private information of a real person without consent.
  • Misinformation. Doctored images intended to deceive or spread false information about real events or people.
  • Illegal content. Anything that violates applicable law, including copyright infringement, defamation, or promotion of illegal activity.
  • Spam / advertising. Images whose sole purpose is to promote a product or service in a misleading way.

Enforcement

We review images flagged by users or automated signals. If a violation is found:

  • The image will be removed from the homepage immediately.
  • The transaction will be voided or refunded at our discretion.
  • Repeat offenders may be blocked from future use.
  • Serious violations (e.g. CSAM, credible threats) will be reported to relevant authorities.

If you see a photo that violates this policy, please email codes10@gmail.com with the subject line "Report: inappropriate image". We aim to respond within 24 hours.
